Indie singer/songwriter Lauren West draws inspiration from the lush melodies of midcentury Americana and the moody hooks of alternative rock to create rich, compelling compositions that stick with you. About HUDSY’s Community Content Fund
One of HUDSY’s goals is to help filmmakers bring local stories to life. As filmmakers themselves, they know how hard it is to get passion projects off the ground and want to help provide a supportive way forward. The Community Content Fund is HUDSY’s first step in that direction. Once a year HUDSY puts out a call for Hudson Valley content creators to apply for up to $5,000. Fund recipients’ completed projects stream on the HUDSY App, which features community-inspired video content tied to the Hudson Valley. HUDSY believes in reinvesting in our region’s most meaningful stories — and believes that together we can build a robust Hudson Valley-based creative economy, ensuring that artists in our communities are paid for their creativity.
