Stream The Hudson Valley App Launch Tour – Red Maple Vineyard
Premiering three HUDSY Originals PLUS: live musical performances by Nellybombs, spoke word by Daniel Villegas, and drumming by Ever-Growing Family Farm! Casual dining, estate wines and ciders, and Great Life beer available for purchase from 4pm-9:30pm.
A family of farmers from Gambia established Ever-Growing Family Farm – an African rice farm using centuries-old, West African techniques of the Jola people – in the unexpectedly fertile soils of Ulster Park, NY. Against all odds, against mother nature, against the pandemic we see what ingenuity, perseverance, heart, community and passion can create.
Newburgh Poetry Slam: Round 1, Part 1
In the winter of 2021 Daniel Villegas and Park Sound Music put together the Newburgh Poetry Slam at Grit Works in Newburgh, NY. HUDSY had the honor of documenting this beautiful evening of spoken word and captured the inspiring event to share with the community. The poets came ready to deliver and this six-part series takes you through the three-rounds of the night – and you won’t want to miss who takes home the final prize. We will be screening Round 1, Part 1 of the six part series.
A HUDSY Original series profiling local musicians and talking about what’s beyond and behind the music. In this pilot episode we meet Nellybombs, a soul / R&B singer whose love of classical jazz and struggles with mental health issues inspire her music.
