The first episode in a seven-part HUDSY Original Series, This Organic Life follows Local Roots CSA founder Wen-Jay Ying as she guides us on a fun and engaging journey to learn about regenerative food production, soil health, sustainable practices, and the health benefits of eating local. We connect with farmers, chefs, and local experts to explore the relationship between food security, food waste, and the importance of knowing where our food comes from.

Canopy Connections

There are roughly 50 trees on this planet for every human. We are drawn to them from a young age, but most adults sadly outgrow those habits. Join Remy Oktay as he shows us how tree climbing can foster deeper connections with ourselves, our planet and each other in this HUDSY Original Film.

Water is Life

This HUDSY Original Film explores the cultural legacy of the Hudson River and introduces us to 19th Century landscape painter Thomas Cole – who founded the the Hudson River School of painting – and his impact on contemporary artists such as illustrator and children’s book author Hudson Talbott, and renowned painter Stephen Hannock.

We Have a Voice

When Mary Haddad watched a video of Oakwood Friends School’s Black Lives Matter banner be pulled down – again – she knew she had to find a different way to support the cause and engage the community. Mary got to work creating a paint-by-numbers BLM mural and worked with Oakwood’s students to create a moveable mural that continues to tour the region today. A HUDSY Original Film.
